Online scrollable science comic for digital exhibition.
A scrollable comic, inspired by Roger Barlow’s article on The Conversation, which sets out to explain the physics of touch. This piece was commissioned by Australia’s MOD. museum for their 2021 Up Close exhibition. UP CLOSE is an exploration of a spectrum of closeness. Starting inside our bodies, they consider touch and relationships with people and machines before spanning out to the way we move through place and space.
It was a welcome challenge to illustrate normally invisible elements and to succinctly describe complex concepts in an engaging way.
